Oops! Really sorry folks . . . I'd like to come along please and give Jane, Melc and another friend a lift if that's ok? So that's three more . . . I'm so sorry, but since this went to web base rather than e-mails, I don't think to look it up and have also had surgery, so lots going on here. Looking forward to meeting up with you all again tonight if that's ok? Ta! Smile

I just wanted to say a huge Thankyou to Flo for the wonderful hospitality last night . . . suffice to say, a great time was had by all who attended, lots of useful information gained, some great plant swapping (thankyou!) and generally a fun evening . . . Flo - your scones are to die for! lol

Hi all, I'm glad that all went well. I ended up going to Cornwall by myself as Karen wasn't well. I came back Saturday rather than Sunday, as planned, because whatever Karen had has now got me.

Thanks folks. It was the right thing to do riding back Saturday evening rather that Sunday afternoon. A coughing/sneezing fit inside a full face crash helmet is not fun. I feel as if I've been kicked in the chest and have an awful cough.

When I pulled up on the bike at a quarter to ten on Sunday night Karen was much better and was around the next door neighbour's. Once I'd got out of my biking clothes and given Karen a hug, I had a beer shoved in one hand and steak and a burger in the other. They'd saved me some food from the BBQ, bless them.
